Sunday Morning Worship
On-site Worship
Intown Community Church is currently offering on-site worship on Sundays. While it's wonderful to gather together again in worship, we understand the importance of following recommended guidelines for mitigating risk associated with the spread of COVID-19. We believe that this is part of our calling to love one another, so we have put some safety measures into place that everyone will be required to follow when participating in on-site worship. Everyone is welcome, but seating is very limited so reservations are required. Rest assured that we are continuing to monitor developments with COVID-19 and are committed to following recommendations of local, state, and national officials. Any updates will posted here. Virtual Worship

For Those in Need
The Intown Deacons Fund serves to assist Intown members and regular visitors through financial crises caused by job loss or reduction, unplanned medical costs or other emergency situations. The fund has aided numerous members through times of need, and we are aware of some members in our church family who are facing financial difficulty or could be soon. If you would like to donate to The Deacon’s Fund, click here.
Toco Hills Community Alliance, a ministry supported by several neighborhood churches that provide free food and clothing to the homeless, working poor and others lacking sufficient resources, is one of Intown’s community partners. Currently, the ministry has a need for face masks, disinfectant wipes, Lysol spray and hand sanitizer. Donations can be dropped off at the Alliance, Tuesday-Thursday 1-4 p.m.or you can make a financial contribution here. Donations will be accepted from cars at the side entrance during those available times.

Resources for Parents with Children
Leaders of our children’s ministry have prepared resourcess that you can use with your children at home and a series of short devotionals with Pastor Steve that is appropriate for children ages 3-grade 4.

The youth ministry is currently conducting Live Q&A sessions, brief devotionals and 1-on-1 phone chats on the porch with Becca Heck, co-director of IDX Student Ministry . Directives
July 2020 State of Emergency extended
The Public Health State of Emergency remains in effect through August 11, 2020. Georgians are strongly encouraged to wear masks, observe social distancing, and regularly wash and sanitize their hands.
April 2, 2020 Shelter-in-Place for Georgia
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp issued a shelter-in-place order for the entire state that is effective until April 13. (Update: extended to April 30, 2020)
March 28, 2020 Stay-at-Home for Dekalb County
DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond updated the county’s state of emergency with a stay-at-home order for DeKalb County in response to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
The order is effective Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 9 p.m. until further notice.
The stay-at-home order applies to all individuals living in DeKalb County. According to the order, “individuals are permitted to leave their places of residence only to provide or receive certain essential services or engage in certain essential activities and work for essential businesses and eåssential governmental functions.”

Practice good hygiene
CDC Guidelines:
Stop handshaking – use other non-contact methods of greeting.
Wash your hands at least 20 seconds and do so regularly.
Avoid touching your face and cover coughs and sneezes.
Disinfect surfaces like doorknobs, tables, desks, and handrails regularly.
Ensure good ventilation; open windows or adjust air conditioning as needed.
